COLLABORATION WITH AMERICAN SOCIETY OF ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY (ASE) SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP (SIG)

SIG Website: https://www.asecho.org/sigs/nhts/

The Neonatal Hemodynamics TnECHO (NHTS) Special Interest Group (SIG) within the American Society of Echocardiography(ASE) provides a collaborative forum for members with interest and expertise in this specialized field. This group cultivates innovation and scientific discovery, fosters clinical and academic cooperation, and reshapes practice in the management of neonates with hemodynamic disturbances through educational resources, recorded and live webinars, and case-based discussions. The NHTS SIG member will have the opportunity to engage in an interactive network with potential for research collaboration, and an open forum for discussion on the advances in neonatal hemodynamics evaluation and management. Through the ASE CONNECT forum members will have ongoing access to echocardiography related activities and the ability to interact with pediatric/adult cardiology imaging experts and sonographers.

The ASE NHTS executive provides academic oversight to activities in the SIG. Activities include proposing/updating TnECHO imaging guidelines, profiling hemodynamic related educational activities or research opportunities, liaising with the Neonatal Hemodynamics Research Center (NHRC) to ensure academic symbiosis, and cultivating innovation/discovery within the field. Members of NHTS executive are actively involved in NHRC activities which support growth of the field of Hemodynamics.

If you have any questions related to NHTS membership please reach out to Danielle King (dking@asecho.org) or questions related to NHTS activities please reach out to Lauren Ruoss, NHRC liaison to NHTS (Lauren.Ruoss@orlandohealth.com)
